Why We Do It

Before there was a team, there was just me. It was in 2005 when I shot my first wedding. I began shooting weddings by accident. I started out doing corporate video. After I added some much needed excitement to a video that would otherwise be dull, a co-worker asked me if I would shoot her wedding. With some initial reluctance, I agreed, but 8 years later, I find myself still enjoying the challenge and responsibility of shooting Wedding videos. I love weddings. I love shooting them and being reminded of September 24, 2005, when I looked into my wife's eyes and vowed to love, respect, and honor her for the rest of my life. My wedding day is my favorite day of my entire life and recreating the magic I felt then is the goal I have with each wedding I shoot.
Although the business began from an urge to challenge myself creatively, it's evolved into one of my passions and endures as a result of my romantic optimism. Each time I film a wedding, I re-live parts of my own wedding day. That opportunity is a privilege and an honor that I take very seriously from one wedding to the next.
